The Beijing International Convention Center (BICC) is located at Asian Games Village , 20 km from Beijing Capital Airport , 9 km from Tian'anmen Square (city centre). The BICC is one of the largest facilities specifically designed for conferences and exhibitions in China . BICC consists of an eight-floor building covering an area of about 68800 square meters. It has 50 conference halls and meeting rooms equipped to serve a wide variety of purposes, I as well as indoor exhibition halls accommodating as many as 300 international standard exhibition booths and dozens of offices. The Conference Building also has a business centre, an audiovisual studio, a post office, an information counter, spacious registration hall, public and VIP lounges and bars located on each floor. BICC specializes in staging national and international conferences, exhibitions and other large events. The conference halls are well equipped with advanced simultaneous language translation system, first-rate acoustic apparatus, a live TV relay system, inner and outer communication system, and a video conference system.
