Beijing urban expansion map

The dynamic monitoring of the Beijing urban expansion using imagery acquired in 1991 and 1999 shows clearly the urban development speed, the occupation of cropland and noncropland. This imagery can be referenced in the protection of the cropland, and law enforcement inspection and urban planning.
